How to set up subcontractors direct deposit - canada qbo payroll

I'm glad to see you reaching out here.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online Payroll currently doesn't provide the option to pay subcontractors with direct deposit.  If you'd like to see this available in future updates, please feel free to submit a suggestion to our Development Team.  In the meantime, Id be happy to provide another option for you!

In QuickBooks Online, you'll enter your subcontractors as suppliers and choose how you would like to track payments for taxes.  You'll find how to set up your subcontractors here.  With regards to paying them with direct deposit, you can record the expense and select the payment method as direct debit, or e-transfer, but the payment will need to be completed outside of QuickBooks.
