Question

I have a "paycheque sync error" type and I'm not sure how to fix this. It tells me that quickbook is not able to sync my journal entries. Any suggestions?

It tells me that my payroll went through successfully, but it weren't able to sync my journal entries.

Hi there, @tom273. A paycheque sync error typically happens due to account mapping discrepancies or some technical considerations.


Please know that if payroll journal entries don’t sync, troubleshooting may be required, even if payroll was processed successfully. To identify the exact cause and resolve the error, I recommend contacting our Live Support team. They will gather more details about your concern and use their tools to help you address it.


Here's how:
 

  1. Click the Help menu or the (?) icon in the upper-right corner of QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select the Assistant tab.
  3. Type "contact support" in the chat box and press Enter.
  4. Briefly describe your issue and click Continue.
  5. Decide your preferred support option: Have us call you or start a chat.
