I put the wrong date on my payroll how can I change it

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great way to pay your staff with confidence.  If you've just completed the pay run, you can make changes before it's processed.  Here's how;

1. Open Payroll and then Employees from the left menu

2. Select Paycheque list, under Run payroll

3. Place a checkmark beside all cheques to be removed and hit Delete

If you don't see an option to Delete the items, contact us.

Follow these steps to edit the pay schedules and pay dates;

1. Open Payroll and then Employees

2. Select an employee to expand their profile

3. Click on Edit, to the right of Employment details

4. Hit the Edit ✎ beside Pay schedule

5. Make the necessary changes and hit Save when done

Repeat these steps for each employee.  When finished, you can proceed with running payroll.
