Hello QBO Community, I run an in-home health care agency, and I use a separate tool to schedule my carers. For each shift, I assign a unique hourly rate for the same employee. For example:On Monday, a carer might earn $20/hour.On Thursday, the same carer might earn $16/hour for a different shift. These rates are not billable rates for invoicing—they are specific pay rates for payroll purposes. My Questions: How can I reflect these unique hourly rates per time activity in QuickBooks Online when running payroll? Is there a way to manage this dynamically through the QuickBooks Online API? Any insights or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Currently we pay out OT every pay, but want to offer to bank Over Time hours for our employees to pay out at their request. Not sure how to do this on QBO Payroll.
The employee makes a purchase for an item for a job.
Is there a way for me to add stat holiday pay as a pay type in Quickbooks Desktop? There was an article about this subject, but it was only for the online. I had to do this manually, which was a pain. I am not talking about someone working on the stat holiday (which was New Years') but rather the amount that has to be paid as an average of hours worked for the previous four weeks of an hourly employee.
I had quickbooks transferred to my laptop so I can work from home when needed. I did my first payroll run and it didn't calculate federal taxes. I checked and everyone has the federal and provincial TD1 numbers entered so I don't know what's happening. Any ideas?
What income type are stocks? What accounts would be used?

Can an employee have more than 1 class? I would like to split salary into 2 classes?
I have rounding set for 10 minute increments, but I am noticing that if employees clock out a minute before or right on a 10 minute increment it will push it to the next 10 minute increment. For example, of an employee signs out at 8:29 or 8:30 it will push the time to 8:40. From what I’ve been able to find on the topic, this doesn’t make sense. Any Insight is greatly appreciated!
The CPP second contribution amount is not calculating properly for all staff. It is also not adding the CPP - second deduction correctly when running Payroll Summary Reports. Anyone else having those issues? I have verified that my tax tables were updated for the July 2024 version. This is concerning.
You’re correct in that I am in Canada. Assuming that the Quickbooks process for removing a paycheque from the bank rec is the same (or very similar), please provide ‘how to’ instructions only.
How can I fix this?
It was an option when entering payroll to select a paper check if the employee couldnt wait till Payday or if there was a an issue. But the only place I found to select paper check is now in the employee settings, and you have to delete the direct deposit option.
I am looking for a way to pay vendors from our bank to theirs without doing etransfers. Is there a way in QB online or is there a third party app that I can get to do this?
A cheque was created in 2023 but the amount paid out was $100 less than listed in the cheque, so I am unable to match the bank and QB transactions. I cannot edit the salary paid out in the cheque from the pay cheque list. I would delete the cheque and issue a new one but I am unable to create a cheque for a previous year. How can I reconcile these amounts so the missing $100 is accounted for? Help is greatly appreciated!
How do I change the employee display name in time?
