Hi there, Mellenx.

Yes, there is a limit on payroll direct deposits. These limits help prevent fraud and ensure that your account has sufficient funds to cover transactions.

The limits are determined per payroll and per individual:

  • Per Payroll: The total amount of direct deposits for all employees or contractors paid within six days (including weekends) from the paycheque date.
  • Per Person: The direct deposit amount for one employee or contractor is paid within 14 days  (including weekends) from the date of payroll submission.

To check your direct deposit limits, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Payroll Settings
  3. Look for the Direct Deposit section and select Edit to view your limits.

Since your direct deposit paycheque was automatically switched to a paper paycheque. I recommend connecting you with our payroll live support team, as they can provide a real-time review to identify the underlying cause of this issue. They have the necessary tools to determine what went wrong.
