Is there an option in quickbooks payroll to allow employees to choose/update their own withholdings?

I can see how having this option in QuickBooks Online's payroll services would help with the workflow and save you time. Taking both the Standard and Advanced Payroll options into consideration, there are a wide range of options when it comes to managing your payroll in the program. I'll shed more light on the kinds of updates to employee withholding information you're talking about.

 

In QuickBooks Online, updating the employee withholding details is managed in the QuickBooks account, presumably by you as the employer or someone else on your team with access. This is taken care of in the Employees section on the employee's profile and TD1 information. This is true for both versions of payroll. At this time, employees don't have access to make these changes.
