My employee payroll taxes withheld does not match what I am manually calculating them to be. How do I see the logic behind the amounts calculated by QBO?

It's also important to note that QuickBooks Online (QBO) has built-in algorithms to calculate payroll taxes based on employee information and the regulations established by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and applicable provincial tax authorities. Moving on to running your payroll details, you can achieve it by following the steps below:

1. Log into your QBO account.
2. Select Payroll in the left panel, then choose Employees.
3. Click on the Run Payroll tab.
4. Choose a pay schedule, then click Continue.
5. Pick the specific employee you want to run, then click Preview Payroll.
6. Tap the Preview Payroll Details tab to view your employee summary.
