My t4 employer slips have been marked as filed, but they are not, how do I mark them as as not filed so I can download the XML file for submission to CRA

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online enables you to download your T4 slips, so you can file them on the CRA website seamlessly.  I would be glad to help!

Once you've created and filed T4 slips, they will be archived.  You'll need to delete the current forms, then re-create them, so you can download the .XML file for submission.  Here's how;

1. Open Payroll, then Payroll tax

2. Select the Filings tab, then Archive

3. From the ▼ dropdown menu on T4 Employee slips, select Delete. 

You're ready to Prepare and submit T4 slips and summary.
