Payroll tab gone in QuickBooks online

One possible reason why QuickBooks is not showing the Payroll tab could be because of the accumulated temporary internet files. Let's perform basic troubleshooting steps to check whether this has something to do with your browser. Use an incognito window and update it from there. Here are some of the shortcut keys:

• Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

You also want to clear the cache to fix browser errors and make sure you're using a supported and up-to-date one.
