Update the tax period Jan 2022 to Dec 2022

Thanks for reaching out to us here. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help keep your books balanced. I would be happy to provide some information about tax filing. 

If this is your first time filing taxes in QuickBooks, follow the steps below to change the start date:

1- Open Taxes from the left menu

2- Click on Sales Tax

3- Click on Prepare Return

4- Enter the Filing period, the Start date, End date and Filing date

5- Review the information and hit Mark as filed.

If you would like to simply edit information you can go to Sales tax > Manage sales tax >  Edit Agency settings and save.
