What is the chat of accounts behind the Taxes tab: Sale Tax

Knowing where to look to find the information you're looking for is crucial to help you save time. I'd be happy to help direct you on where to find sales tax in your chart of accounts.

The default location for your sales tax in QuickBooks Online would be a payable account with the sales tax type as the name. For example the GST/HST sales tax account for Ontario would be called GST/HST Payable. These can be found by going to Accounting>Chart of Accounts and scrolling through the lists.
