QuickBooks Desktop payroll tax table updates have affected many of our customers. I would be happy to provide some insight here.
The first available update for QuickBooks Desktop is every January. At this time, you would be required to run QuickBooks as the Admin, then proceed to the Help menu to reset the updates. It's always recommended to update your QuickBooks product to the latest release, typically every July. By not doing so, you won't be able to take advantage of the automatic update feature, including the July Tax table update.
With that being said, you will need to manually update the payroll tax table at this time. Please review your email, as the new license would have been sent out in September. If you're not able to locate it, please contact our QuickBooks Desktop specialists at 1-833-317-2226, Mon-Fri: 9am-8pm ET. They'll be able to verify your account in a secure setting and provide the information you need, to get back to business as soon possible!
