Why do funds take so long to be deposited in employees account after running payroll?

Allow me to share some insights about the funding time of your Direct Deposit. 

When you sign up for the service, your account is assigned with a specific funding time for your paychecks. For QuickBooks Online Payroll, the default funding time setting is either 2-Day or 5-Day. Your payroll is payroll is offloaded to the employee's account based on that lead time.
