To ensure you're able to snap receipts and match them to expenses, I recommend refreshing the app.  If you experience the same outcome with the error message, uninstall and reinstall it.  Should you require additional assistance, please contact us.  We'd enjoy the opportunity to work with you in real time and ensure your QuickBooks Online Receipt function is working as designed.  

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
