The expenses automatically imported from the credit card are appearing as receipts. How do I stop this?

You'll have to check the account type of the Credit Card account to make sure it is correctly set up. Here's how:

1. Click on the Accounting tab.
2. Click on Chart of Accounts.
3. Locate the Credit card account, and click on the drop down arrow beside Account history.
4. Click on Edit.
5. Check if the Account type is set to Credit Card.

If the set up is correct, we'd recommend checking your bank statement if the transaction is showing correctly as money in or out. 

In the meantime, you can exclude the transaction showing as receipts in QuickBooks Online and manually upload a CSV file for the credit card transactions. Here's an article you can check for more detailed information on how to Import Bank transactions via CSV [VIDEO].
