How do I set up Token Number

Some banks may require an additional security verification step, such as a Token Number, which could be related to the repeated disconnections from QuickBooks Online.

You can obtain the Token Number through your bank’s security verification process. Once you have the token:

  1. When prompted by QuickBooks Online, enter the Token Number generated by your bank’s authentication method, such as a banking app, security fob, or text message.

  2. If your connection token has expired or requires reauthorization, Update or refresh your bank connection

  3. Select your bank account, click the Edit/Pencil icon, then choose Edit sign-in info to securely re-enter your credentials and authorize the connection again.
