Question

I have been trying for ages to lodge our STP with ATO as well as BAS. Just called ATO and had it connected, however, QuickBooks is still not able to let us do these!

If you aren't able to submit an STP Pay Event after things have been connected on the ATO side, then there could be a few different reasons for this. First, I would recommend double checking that every step in this article has been completed correctly, and that the ATO portal is displaying the correct Software ID that is displayed within the Payroll section. If that has been completed, or if you have any further questions about this process, then I would recommend reaching out to our support team so that they can investigate things further. You can give us a call on 1800 046 038 to troubleshoot this with you, or if you would rather get a call-back from a representative or talk to us via Messaging, follow the steps below:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks Online, click the Help menu in the upper-right corner.
  2. On the Search tab, click an article and select Contact us at the bottom. Then, enter the details of your concern.
  3. Choose how you would like to connect with them: either via Callback or Chat.
