If i lost my bank feed is there any way i can reconnect to it? If not, how can i move forward? Do i have to start all over again?

I have lost my bank feed for some time now. I tried calling my bank, but they said everything was okay there end. When i called QB, they where saying its something to do with the bank. So i disconnected the bank hoping that I could reconnect to it later. But when I reconnected, all my previous transactions were lost.

Hello, litchy. You can definitely reconnect, and your data isn't gone. Anything you categorized before disconnecting is still safe in your account register. When you reconnect, QuickBooks usually only pulls the last 90 days of data. If you’re missing transactions from before that window that weren't yet categorized, you can grab a CSV file from your bank’s website and manually upload it.

As for the previous issues with your bank feeds, we appreciate you for contacting both your bank and our support team. Let me ask for details to ensure you don't run into this again. Did you encounter any specific bank connection errors or something else? Just a quick tip moving forward, if you did encounter an error, try to avoid disconnecting the account while an error is active. Doing so can often lead to a mess of duplicate transactions once the feed reconnects.

We'll be right here for any additional information about managing your bank feeds.
