I want to assist you with your question concerning your data in QuickBooks Online.
Since the processing and data storage of the Online version goes through via Cloud, rolling back to a previous point of time is unavailable. What you can do is manually update or delete the transactions in the system.
You can use the Magnifying Glass icon to search for transactions and delete or void them.
Not without a flux capacitor, a Delorean and enough open road to get up to 88 mph.
Seriously, QuickBooks Online does not offer anything themselves even like a Mr Peabody WayBack Machine. There are third party apps that claim they can do this but you would have to go back in time to install one in order to go back from right now,
We need to be able to do this, the newest change to invoicing is terrible and it costing me valuable time with all the extra steps required!!! Most all of my customers have MULTIPLE invoices for the same material, I would generate an invoice for a current order with all the required information stored, then click copy and generate the next one only having to change the quantity, now I have to close out and start fresh. What took 5 minutes is now over an hour of time I don't have in a short staffed office.
We pay for this product and should not be forced to a new format!!!!!!!
Where do I send QB the bill for the lost production?
I am with you on this!!!! It totally messed up how I change an estimate to an invoice.. And if it is an estimate that was created a prior month it wont accept converting it because it is past close off date.
Have you found a way to convert back?
