Could you please tell me which phone number I should call to renew my subscription?

I have been calling throughout the day, but the automated message says the offices are closed and instructs me to call Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time.

It is now 6:52 PM Eastern Time, and I'm still getting the same message. I also called around noon today and received the exact same recording.

Could you please let me know which phone number I should call?

What is the easiest way to transfer quick books to my new computer

Could you let us know which QuickBooks product you are currently using? If you use QuickBooks Online, you won't need to transfer any files. None of your data lives on your computer, so you can just open a web browser on your new device and log in directly through the QuickBooks website.

 

However, if you are using QuickBooks Desktop 2018 or newer, you can use the Migration Tool to transfer the software and up to three company files to your new computer. Here's how:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks on your old computer, head to the File menu, hover over Utilities, and choose Move QuickBooks to another computer.
  2. Select I'm ready, then create a one-time password. You'll only need this password once, for the migrator tool.
  3. Follow the instructions to choose the USB flash drive you'll use, and wait for the files to be copied.
  4. Insert the USB flash drive into your new computer. (Note: Due to Windows security restrictions, the tool won't pop up automatically.)
  5. Open the flash drive folder and double-click the Move_QuickBooks.bat file to start the migrator. (If it doesn't open, your version of Windows may need a quick update.)
  6. Enter the password you created, then select Let's go.
  7. Let the tool finish the transfer, which may take a little time depending on your internet speed and file sizes.
  8. Once finished, the tool will automatically clear the files from your USB drive, but they will still safely remain on your old computer. We highly recommend renaming those old files now so you don't accidentally use them in the future.
