Question

Does anyone know any tricks to keep accounts linked to input transactions to the queue? My Bank just upgraded it's website, and I can no longer access the account.

Manage Accounts keeps dropping the link to quickbooks and I miss transactions.

I'm here to help you link your bank account to QuickBooks Self Employed (QBSE). This will allow you to track your transactions and maintain an up-to-date account.

Since your bank has recently updated its website, which means that your transactions will no longer automatically sync with QuickBooks until you upgrade your bank connection. To continue receiving your transactions, you must reconnect your account. Ensure you select the correct bank name during the connection process.

It's important NOT to delete the bank connection. If the connection is deleted, all transaction history will be deleted permanently.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Settings ⚙ icon and select Bank accounts.
  2. Select Connect another account.
  3. In the search box, enter the name of the bank and account type.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to connect your account. QuickBooks Self-Employed will automatically download your recent bank transactions.

Keep me posted on how this turns out. I'm eager to hear any updates. If you have more questions about linking your bank to your QBSE account, just drop a reply below.
