Error occurred Server error: 'INVALID_ARGUMENT', detail: 'Missing required argument: authContextld'

Error message received when initially signing in on new phone

I enter my email and password and when validating my device by code both options pop this error message. Haven't been able to use my app in almost a month.

Customer service said to use the web browser. Why would I pay for an app that I cannot access ever? I am really starting to get frustrated.  Please help

This is definitely not the kind of experience we want you to have when using the mobile app, Cramazing_Amber.

I checked our records and I can see that our engineering team are already aware of the invalid argument error when logging in. They have also made an investigation to determine the cause of the issue and create a permanent fix as well.

Make sure to contact our phone or chat support teams and let them know to add you to the list of affected users. Then provide INV-81066 as a reference in case they might ask for it. You will  be notified via email as soon as the log in error is sorted out.

Go to this link to get their contact details: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.

In the meantime, use this link to log in to your account while the issue is being worked on: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/self-employed/.

Lastly, allow me to share these articles for additional references about the product:

Let me know if that answers your question about using the app. You can also ask more questions in case you still need more help from the Community.
