Hello there, @deborahdevaney361. I understand that it can be tiring to squint at small icons on your QuickBooks Desktop. Let me help you resize the entire application for a more comfortable viewing experience.

To do this, let's adjust application settings. Here's how:

  1. Close the QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Right-click on the QuickBooks application/icon, then select Open file location.
  3. In the folder, locate the QuickBooks.exe file. You can quickly find this file by using the shortcut: Ctrl + F.
  4. Once found, right-click the QuickBooks.exe file and choose Properties.
  5. Navigate to Compatibility page, then click the Change high DPI settings.
  6. Tick the box for Override high DPI scaling behavior.
  7. Once done, click OK.

You can refer to this screenshot below for your visual guidance:

After making these changes, reopen QuickBooks Desktop to see if the viewing experience has improved. If the issue persists, follow the second step provided in this article: Fix screen issues in QuickBooks Desktop.
