Hello, @lcastleb1.

I appreciate for clicking the let's fix it links in the error you've received. I'm here to provide some troubleshooting steps to get this sorted.

Receiving any errors in accessing your financial institutions (FI) in QuickBooks Self-Employed happens if:

  • A browser stored a lot of caches
  • FI is under maintenance

With this, I'd suggest doing some tricks to get the issue sorted. To start, please press the F5 key on your keyboard to restore the page.

If the problem continues, let's log in to your account via incognito. These browsers won't save any cache and cookies. Feel free to use these shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

From there, re-access your bank and continue what you're doing to verify if it's functioning properly. If it's worked out, please return it to your regular browser and clear the cache. If the concern keeps going, you may also try accessing your account using another supported browser.

Also, I'd suggest communicating with your bank's provider to check the status of your bank. Since you've already done sending the appropriate fix to your FI.

Please browse through these pages below about fixing some banking errors and other related matters.

Lastly, could you please let me know your bank's name? This way, I can double-check our reports if we have an open investigation about this matter. And can provide you an accurate explanation and resolution.

I'll be waiting for your response, lcastleb1. I'm pleased to help. Keep safe.
