Is anyone having trouble using tags?

everytime I attempt to apply a tag QB self employed crashes and I have to re login.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, gittebanach.

 

The issue you're experiencing with applying tags to transactions has been reported to our engineers (INV-78165). They are actively working to find a permanent solution so that customers can use QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) and the tags feature seamlessly.

 

While we are unable to offer a workaround, I recommend contacting QBSE Support to add your company to the list of affected users. Signing up for the notification list ensures you'll be notified of the progress of the investigation. Follow these steps to get the contact information:

 

  1. Go to the Assistant menu from the top bar to open the QB Assistant window.
  2. Enter a brief description of the issue in the Type something field.
  3. Tap the I still need a human menu to view the support options.
  4. From there, choose Message an agent to start a conversation or Get a callback to speak with an agent.

 

For additional resources, I also included the Turn on tags in QuickBooks Self-Employed article. It includes instructions for removing the tag from your transactions. Please know that it's from another region, but it also applies to the US version.
