My QuickBooks accountant desktop 2020 has disappeared

You can utilize the easy-to-use search feature to help you find the app on your computer. 

Here's how:

1. Click the search button on the taskbar.
2. Type "QuickBooks."
3. In the search results, click the Apps section header to view a list of apps that meet the search criteria.
4. Click the right arrow for your QBDT.
5. In the right section, you'll want to select:
   • Open
   • Open file location: To find out where it's installed
   • Pin to Start: To add it to the Windows Start menu.
   • Pin to taskbar: To pin the app to the taskbar
     

You can also add it to the desktop:

1. Right-click on the desktop.
2. Select New and then Shortcut.
3. Enter the location of the item or select Browse to find the item in File Explorer, then choose the location and click OK.
4. Hit Next, then Finish.
