single user, single computer, two company files, running desktop pro plus 2022 is a ND file required

QuickBooks will create/re-create any auxiliary files it needs, if they're missing.

In my experience, it always creates an *.ND file, a *.TLG file, and a *.DSN file when I open a company file if they're missing.
