Hi!  I purchased a new computer and re-installed QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024.  When I look at my startup apps, there is a listing in windows showing "We counldn't find this app".  When I click on the details it shows a path that does not exist for a QBUpdate.  I attached a screenshot below.  Is there any way to fix?

Hello clang7060, I understand that reinstalling QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is important for managing your transactions on your new computer. We’re here and ready to assist you with resolving the Windows startup error.

The message appearing in your startup apps typically indicates that Windows is attempting to access a program or service that has been removed, has an incomplete installation path, or points to a non-existent location, such as a network drive. This could be the result of a mismatch or incomplete setup when reinstalling QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024 on your new computer.

I recommend contacting your IT department to troubleshoot this installation-related concern, as it appears to be a Windows issue rather than a problem directly affecting QuickBooks. Rest assured, this shouldn't impact the performance of QuickBooks itself, as long as the application and its updates are functioning correctly.

Once you've completed the installation, you can refer to this link for guidance on properly installing QBDT. It includes steps to rename QuickBooks folders for resolving company file issues and instructions to map a network drive effectively.

If you need further assistance during the process of reinstalling QBDT, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are always here to help.

How did you reinstall it?
