Not much more to say than above, otherwise that it is super annoying to have to continually refresh the webapge and find my place again because it crashes when adding/editing tags.

I'd also feel the same when something isn't working, @dfribush. I'll go over how we can sort out this issue with your QuickBooks Self-Employed freezing when adding or editing tags.

There are times when too much historical data from the browser causes discrepancies that affect the view and performance of your QuickBooks. Thus, it might be the reason why your QBSE webpage crashes when doing Tags.

I'd suggest logging in to your account using a private window. It doesn't use the existing cache files to help us determine if this is a browser-related issue. To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts depending on what browser you’re using:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome browser
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox & Microsoft Edge browsers
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari browser

Then, perform the same task again. If it works fine, you can go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh or use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.

If the issue still persists, I'd recommend getting in touch with our QuickBooks Self-Employed Support Team. This way, you'll be able to have a screen-sharing session with them to investigate your query further.
