Upgrading from QuickBooks 2015 Accountant Addition to QuickBooks Online

I am still running QuickBooks 2015 (Accountant Edition).   I no longer need the accountant edition features, so I am trying to upgrade to QuickBooks Online Simple Start.   How do I upgrade and import ALL DATA (customers, vendors, transaction history, etc)?

Thank you.

It's great to see you taking steps to streamline your accounting process by moving to an online platform, BucsFan72. I'm here to guide you through each step of the way.

Before making the switch, it's important to ensure that all your data in QuickBooks Desktop is up-to-date and accurate. I suggest backing up your desktop data to avoid any losses during the transition.

To get started with QuickBooks Online Simple Start, visit the QuickBooks pricing page to sign up. Once you've subscribed, here's how you can transfer your files from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online:

  1. Sign in as an admin in QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Go to the Company menu at the top.
  3. Choose Export Your Company File to QuickBooks Online.
  4. Click Get Started.
  5. Sign in as an admin to your QuickBooks Online company.
  6. Select the company you want to replace with your company file.
  7. Click Continue, then select Export.
  8. Follow the onscreen instructions.
