Why wont my bank connect. Says try again in a few hours (102)?

I'm here to ensure you can connect your bank account to QuickBooks Self-Employed seamlessly, @krystal-vitadrip.

 

The error 102 usually happens when your bank's website is undergoing maintenance or has server issues. I suggest manually updating your bank. It helps re-establish the connection between your bank and QBSE.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the upper right.
  2. Select Bank accounts under Transactions.
  3. Click Refresh all

 

If you get the same result, I recommend signing in to your bank's website. Then, check any alerts or notifications that may block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions. Once reviewed, click the Refresh all button again.
