QB2019 desktop - Anyone know of a link that we could provide to clients that  shows the steps needed to link their Quickbooks to HMRC to enable them to submit MTD VAT returns?

Please find attached a link to an article that takes you through the steps for linking your Desktop account to MTD: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Making-Tax-Digital/How-to-submit-a-VAT-return-to-HMRC-MTD-for-QuickBooks-Desktop/m-p/260215?advanced=false&collapse_discussion=true&filter=location&location=category:community-uk&q=mtd%20desktop&search_type=thread

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,

Hi Talia, thank you for your reply, this is how to submit a VAT return to HMRC, within this process does it include the linking with HMRC? and is this for QB 2019 desktop

Hello,

This article is for 2019 Desktop, it advises to go to VAT and then File VAT where you will then be prompted to connect to HMRC if you have not already done so.

Thanks,

Talia
