The format when generating invoices depends on your template. Note that QuickBooks Online uses the Airy style for progress invoices. Let's check and customise it if needed. I'm here to help you.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom form styles.
2. Locate the invoice template you're using and click on Edit.
3. From the Design tab, check the font and adjust it.
4. Under the Content tab, select the footer section (bottom part of the preview).
5. Review the Your payment details to see if it was entered twice. Tap Done to save it.

In addition, you'll want to update, repair, or re-install Adobe Reader/Acrobat. QuickBooks Online uses this software in generating forms including invoices.

If the same thing happens, it's probably due to a browser error. Open an incognito window and check the invoices from there. Here are some of the shortcut keys:

• Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

You also want to clear the cache. This is a junk file that causes issues in QuickBooks Online. Lastly, older versions of a browser cause unusual behaviors too. Make sure you're using an updated one.
