Can I manually generate my own invoice numbers and not have the system generate for me?

Yes, you can generate your own numbering preference. Let me help you.

First, we need to turn on the custom transaction number feature. Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Accounts and Settings.
2. From the Sales tab, select the Sales form content section.
3. Check the Custom transaction numbers box, then Save.

Once done, you can open any existing invoice or create a new one. You'll see the Invoice no. field where you can enter your own invoice number.
