How do I enter a non client deposit ie, there are no invoices or otherwise to allocate the transaction?

If you were looking to create a deposit not necessarily linked to any customer, then you could just use a Bank Deposit if you wished:

1. Select '+ New' in the top-left corner
2. Select Bank Deposit
3. Fill in the fields as required

However, if you need a deposit for a specific purpose, please provide more context on the transaction, we may be able to suggest other options.
