How do I remove a customer

Let me guide you on how you can remove your customer in your account, krautchi.

We can make the customer inactive in QuickBooks Online (QBO). When removing them, the transaction data associated with them remain in reports. Additionally, deleting a parent customer will include its sub-customers.

Here's how:

1. Go to Sales on the left side menu.
2. Select Customers.
3. Choose the customer’s name, then tap Edit.
4. Place a checkmark on the Make inactive box.
5. Press Yes to confirm.

You can also use the Batch actions feature to remove your customer. Just go back to the Customers tab, then put a checkmark on the box beside the customer's name. Then, click the Batch actions drop-down, then choose Make inactive and press Yes to confirm.
