How do I set the invoice list to default to descending order of invoice number?

Unfortunately you cannot set the Invoices list to descending order by default, however if you navigate to the All Sales tab and sort the invoice numbers in descending order there, the setting will hold. Moving forward, you can use the All Sales tab to view this list.
