Saving a invoice and it jumps to invoice paid.

Let’s reverse the status of the invoice,  @samjmcdonnell72.  

 

Did it happen to a specific invoice only? If so, you may have accidentally click the Receive Payment button after creating the invoice.

 

No need to worry, you can delete the payment to turn back the status to unpaid. See the following steps:

 

  1. Go to the invoice that was marked as paid.
  2. Click the 1 payment made link below the Payment status.
  3. On the window that appears, click the Date link. 
  4. From the Action column, open the drop-down menu and select Mark as unpaid.
  5. On the Receive Payment window, go to the More button at the bottom and click the Delete
