Question

Why can't I set individual quote and invoice templates within the master one? I have a set message I want to display on my quotes, and another on invoices.

Hi lindsay13,

You can create a Quote Template and write a message there, then set that Quote Template as the default template for your quotes.

To create a quote template:

  1. Navigate to the Gear Icon on the top-right.
  2. Select Custom Form Styles.
  3. Select New Style, then select Quote.
  4. Select the Content tab, then select the bottom third of the Quote Preview.
  5. Enter your Quote message into the text box and select Done.
  6. In the Custom form styles screen, find the Quote Template you created and select the drop-down arrow in the Action column.
  7. Select Make Default.

Now your Quote message will display on all quotes, while the invoice message stays separate.

Hope this helps!
