Hi, @Haris11. Thank you for taking the time to update the date format in your account settings. I appreciate your effort.

Before we proceed, I want to clarify whether the changes you made are not reflecting on existing invoices or if they don’t appear when creating new invoices.

Please note that in QuickBooks Online (QBO), any changes made to account settings, forms, or preferences are not applied retroactively to previous transactions or entries. These updates only take effect for new transactions or actions created after the changes have been saved.

To ensure that the updated date format syncs properly, I recommend refreshing your QBO page before you attempt to create a new entry. This step is crucial because any changes you make (such as the date format) are stored on Intuit’s servers.

However, the page currently loaded in your browser may still be running based on old settings from when you first logged in. Refreshing the page reloads the system using the latest instructions.

Here’s a quick recap of how to update the date format:

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon in the upper-right corner, then click Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Advanced tab and locate the Date format option.
  3. Select your preferred date format.
  4. Click Save and then Done.
