You can effectively manage your bank account's currency settings in QuickBooks Online, @shivonnek , by creating a new one with the correct currency.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you cannot change the currency of an existing bank account once it has been created.

Here's how to set up:

  1. Go to Settings in the upper right corner.
  2. Under the Company section, select Chart of accounts.
  3. In the right corner, click on New.
  4. Create a new Account name and choose the Account type.
  5. Select the Currency you want to use.
  6. Click Save to apply the changes.

Once the new account is set up, you can record a transfer to move the existing balance and any relevant transactions to the new account.

To transfer balances follow these steps:

  1. Go to +New.
  2. Under Other, select Transfer.
  3. Choose the Transfer Funds From and Transfer Funds To accounts.
  4. Enter the amount.
  5. Then hit Save and close.

For detailed guidance on recording a transfer between two accounts in QBO, please refer to this article: Transfer funds between accounts.
