I work in Spain and have been using the Quickbooks pc version for a long time now, and decided to use the online version. I want to change the text in the pre-defined header and footer labels. In the PC versions, you could easily do this, but I cannot find this option on the web version! Regards Paul

Yes, you can customize the predefined header and footer labels on your invoices, @paul267. This can be done by editing your invoice template on the Custom form styles page in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To do that, here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then Custom form styles
  2. Locate the invoice template you wish to modify and click Edit.
  3. Go to the Content tab and hover over the Header section of the template.
  4. Make necessary modifications, then hit Done.

Please note that changes will be visible upon printing or previewing the form.

While we can customize areas such as the content in the Message to customer field, Payment information, and the Add footer text box in the Footer section. You can also tick the checkboxes to control which footer items (e.g., payment terms or company information) are displayed on the invoice.

However, please note that certain predefined labels, including Balance Due and specific default Display fields in the footer and header, cannot be changed. Thus, we encourage clicking the Give feedback icon on the page to help us refine invoice processes.

With that, consider adding a custom field to create specific labels according to your business needs.
