Welcome to the Community Forum, Iman! I understand that starting with QuickBooks Online (QBO) can feel overwhelming, but rest assured, QBO offers plenty of resources designed to help new users like you.

QuickBooks training offers several ways to master its accounting software. Free resources to access basic video tutorials on YouTube and the official QuickBooks site. These cover essential topics such as setup, invoicing, expenses, and reports. Also, there are paid programs to explore structured certifications through Intuit’s official training paths, available as self-paced courses or live sessions led by expert instructors.

Here are some resources to help:

To enter product and service details and track sales, follow these steps:

  1. Click the All Apps menu, then select Sales and Get Paid Overview and choose Products and Services.
  2. Select the product or service type (Inventory, Non-inventory, Service, or Bundle) you want to enter.
  3. Enter a Name for the item and a SKU, if applicable.
  4. From the Category ▼ dropdown, select the category that best describes your product or service.
  5. Check the I sell this product/service to my customers box (leave unchecked if you do not sell the item).
  6. In the Description on Sales Forms field, enter what your customers will see on their invoices or sales forms.
  7. Enter a Sales Price/Rate in the corresponding field.
  8. From the Income Account ▼ dropdown, select the account you want to use to track sales.
  9. If applicable, select the appropriate tax option from the Tax ▼ dropdown.
  10. Click Save and Close to finalize the entry.
