Cancel QuickBooks Online subscription & stop auto-renewal. Unknown admin email. No admin access on our account & invoices received on an unlinked email.

QuickBooks takes account security very seriously, so only the Primary Admin has the power to manage billing or cancel a subscription. Since you don't have access to the current admin's login, you will need to regain control of the account by submitting a formal Account Recovery Request through the Intuit Account Recovery Portal.

As part of this process, you will need to provide a government-issued ID and business ownership documents to verify your identity. Collections Team usually reviews these requests within 2-5 business days, depending on the documents needed.

Once your Primary Admin status is updated, you can stop the auto-renewal by going to Gear icon > Subscriptions and Billing > Cancel Subscription. You may also contact our QuickBooks Online live support team to guide you through the process.
