You need to enable the multi currency feature and create a new bank account in USD. If you are using QBO Simple Start, you must upgrade your plan to Essentials to do so.

You'll want to ensure that when connecting a bank account to your company file in QBO, you've selected the correct account category to show you what you need. Since you've linked the account, you'll want to disconnect and reconnect to choose USD as your bank's category. We'll write down the steps to get you going:

1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
2. On the left navigational bar, go to the Banking tab.
3. Locate the US bank, and then click the Pencil icon inside it.
4. Select the Edit account info.
5. Under the File Upload Account, tick the box beside Disconnect this account on save.
6. Once done, click Save and Close.

After doing so, reconnect your bank and this time. Ensure to choose the US account category.
