Question

Hi QB Community, does anybody else experience strange things with the multi currency feature? I use both the QB app and QB Plus with multi currency.

For example: I import my expenses via the app, I choose the actual currency, but lately QB changes the currency automatically by itself into EUR, while my home base has another currency....

We can perform some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the issue you encountered when importing your expenses through the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app, MissPro.

Refreshing your app's data can help remove the excessive data build-up, which may be causing the  inconsistencies in automatically changing the chosen currencies during importing. Here's a how:

iOS

  1. Go to the Settings.
  2. Next, click on General and choose iPhone Storage.
  3. Select the QuickBooks Online app. To free up storage without deleting the app's documents and data, select Offload App.

Android

  1. Select the menu at the top right and choose Settings
  2. Press Refresh Data and choose Yes to confirm.

Once refreshed, restart your device and reopen your QBO mobile app to double-check. If you get the same result, please uninstall and reinstall your QBO mobile app.

In the meantime, you can use a workaround by importing your expenses by logging in to your account through a web browser.
