QuickBooks Online (QBO) has a feature that will allow you to create Journal Entry (JE). You can use this to enter a currency exchange operation entry. Before doing so, I suggest consulting your accountant for further assistance with the process to ensure your books are accurate for your business.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. In QBO, go to the + New icon option at the top left to get to the Journal Entry.
  2. Enter the necessary information in the desired fields.
  3. Hit Save and close to complete.
