How do i change customer opening balance?

I'm here to help change the opening balance of your customer in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

QBO automatically creates an invoice once you enter an opening balance. You'll want to open the invoice and change the amount from there. This way, you can enter the correct amount in this field.

Let me show you how:

1. Go to Sales from the left navigation bar, then choose Customers.
2. Open the customer profile, then go to the Transaction List tab.
3. Locate the invoice and open it.
4. Change the amount, then click Save and close.
