I appreciate you for reaching out, Emmeri!

We can start by clearing your cache and Intuit-specific cookies to ensure you're using the latest data and to fix any issues caused by outdated information. You can also use updated or other supported browsers to resolve compatibility issues.

In the meantime, as a workaround, when adjusting the inventory quantity, instead of choosing Others, select a different reason like Damaged Goods or Stock Written-off. Alternatively, you can create an expense or bill transaction to update the quantity on hand of the item. Here's how:

  1. Go to the + New icon > Expense or Bill.
  2. Select the product, enter the quantity adjustment, and save the transaction.

Also, if you are on the new layout of the Inventory Quantity Adjustment, please ensure that you must select the account in Inventory adjustment account.

If the issue persists after troubleshooting, I recommend contacting our Live Support Team. They can securely access your account and figure out its root cause.

Here’s how to contact them:

  1. Go to the Help menu in QuickBooks Online.
  2. Use the Search bar and type Contact Support.
  3. Select Contact Us at the bottom of the page.
  4. Follow the prompts to connect via Chat or Request a Callback.
