Question

How do I make the Profit and Loss Block show up on the Dashboard? My dashboard only shows Invoices, Expenses, Bank Accounts and Sales.

Hello there, Spyglass88.

This might have something to do with a browser issue. For some reason, there are times that software like QuickBooks will not work properly. It's when our data is holding too much cache. When things go like this, performing the recommended troubleshooting steps can help us fix the issue. It helps the software to run better on your computer.

If you haven't tried them yet, you can sign in to your account using a private browser. You can follow the shortcut keys below, depending on what browser you're using.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If we're able to see the Profit and Loss, we can go back to our main browser and clear the cache. This is to start your data fresh and help QuickBooks to work well. With that, the Profit and Loss will be visible on the Dashboard.

Also, you can use other supported browsers like Mozilla, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari. For Safari, make sure to use the latest one.

Please give me an update on how these things work for you. I'm always here in case you still need a hand on this matter. I hope you're well and safe!
